Епістолярний діалог Михайла Косача й Лесі Українки про національне питання

Abstract

Метою пропонованої наукової розвідки є вивчення листування Михайла Косача і Лесі Українки як органічної складової національної публіцистики зламу століть у напрямку обговорення шляхів формування української політичної нації. Для вирішення поставлених завдань застосовано такі методи: проблемно-тематичний аналітичний, системний і порівняльний аналіз. У статті зазначено, що окремі політичні акценти епістолярної спадщини представників відомого українського роду не втратили своєї актуальності для сьогоднішніх творців публіцистичного дискурсу як важливе джерело для з’ясування настроїв тогочасної свідомо національної інтелігенції, стану розвитку української національної ідеї. Автором стверджується, що епістолярна спадщина Михайла Косача і Лесі Українки доповнює публіцистичний дискурс кінця ХІХ початку ХХ століття про шляхи формування української політичної нації, є взірцем толерантного ведення діалогу про актуальні політичні проблеми.

The purpose of the proposed scientific research is to study the correspondence between Mykhailo Kosach and Lesia Ukrainka as an organic component of the national journalism of the turn of the century in the direction of discussing the ways of forming the Ukrainian political nation. To solve the tasks, the author of the article used the following methods: problem-thematic, analytical, systematic and comparative analysis. The article notes that certain political accents of the epistolary heritage of the famous Ukrainian family have not lost their relevance for today’s creators of journalistic discourse as an important source for clarifying the mood of the then conscious national intelligentsia, the state of development of the Ukrainian national idea. The author of the article claims that the epistolary legacy of Mykhailo Kosach and Lesia Ukrainka complements the journalistic discourse of the late 19th and early 20th centuries on the ways of forming the Ukrainian political nation, and will become a model of tolerant dialogue on current political issues.
