Citation Михайленко, В.В. Семантична градація “невизначеності” у форматі перекладу [Текст] / В.В. Михайленко // Вісник Сумського державного університету. Серія Філологічні науки. — 2004. — № 4(63) — С. 69-72.
Abstract Semantic scaling of the category of vagueness in English is in the focus of the present research. The related categories of approximation and ambiguity together with that of indefiniteness can form the space of vagueness. The contrastive-typological investigation of the referred concept is a consequence of the semantic analysis which is of great necessity for determinig English-Ukrainian correspondences in conference translation. Functional semantic fields are not the congruent constructs in English and Ukrainian. The transformation of indefiniteness in the process of conference translation from English into Ukrainian demands elaboration of Discourse Equivalence Theory.
